This opulent mix of gala-ready cool and warm-toned color combinations was created in a collaboration with beauty guru Angelica Nyqvist. Featuring an elegant selection of suave, dark mattes and vibrant, dazzling duochromes, this palette balances deep, rich hues with flurries of shimmering pastel and neon.

From Angelica herself:
This palette features a variety of different textures and a good ratio between mattes and shimmers. The color spectrum goes from really dark to really light with lots of options in what direction you might want to take an eyelook. I also tried to think of colors that would not only go good together but also would go good together with other eyeshadows, not only in your collection but for example together with neutral colors too. My favorite eyeshadows ever are dark, jewel colored matte colors and I am so happy this palette has several of those. I was inspired by the colors of a nebula, hence the name, and I would probably describe it as that as well. I did try to think of something that would fit into both my brand and the Kaleidos brand.

The Story:
The plan to make our first collaboration eyeshadow palette began in June of 2020. Right away, Angelica Nyqvist came to mind; she has been the go-to authority on makeup for us and incredibly supportive of our brand since our first launch. We reached out to her with this proposal just after our Escape Pod palette launched and were thrilled to find out that she was on board.
Unfortunately, travelling between Sweden and China was impossible at the time due to Covid-19, so every step of the process was done through video chats, email, and the postal service. With Angelica’s guidance we crystalized a color story and palette concept and began the process of sending samples to discuss with Angelica, getting feedback, making changes, and sending more. The final result is this beautiful palette that completely surpassed our expectations, and we hope will exceed yours as well.
